More surprises to come?

I think you're getting a little greedy, padscharg!

Way to go guys! Now if we can just get Reyes signed too. . . but seriously, a much needed win for the Padres and their fans.

Way to go front office! I'm glad we were able to get this done.

Whether these guys pan out or not, the front office picked good talent and got them signed.

Hey, I can dream can't I... In all seriousness though, great job. I am excited to see what they can do and as a fan, very happy with the message that this sends us about the direction and future of the club.

For as critical as I've been of the front office, this is a major win for the organization. You got two legitimate first round players in Tate and Williams coupled with a couple of exciting talents Sampson and Needy. I loved the Vern selection when you made it and a decent amount complementary players around the big talents. Kudos.

I have some analysis over at PadresRunDown.com (including some DePo quotes).

Outstanding. So many naysayers had said the Padres could never sign Tate, let alone all three, but here they are signed, sealed and delivered.

I love it!

Way to go Padres!

thanks for the hard work and willingness to spend on our future. I also loved that padres.com showed the presser with Guyton,KT & Fuson. Wish there was more than the 5 minutes that was shown but thats me just wanting more Padres info.

Is it realistic to think that are top picks could play in LE next yr?

I'm hording some of my money from the 'ol lady' for World Series tickets in 2014 :)
